Cancel Amazon Prime Video in 5 steps
Amazon Prime Video is regularly updated with new films and series, which means there is something fun for almost everyone. Yet it may be that the offer does not suit you, or you actually do not have time for it. In that case, it is smart to cancel your subscription, otherwise you will continue to pay.
How to cancel Amazon Prime Video:
- Go to Amazon Prime Video account settings;
- In the ‘My account’ tab, next to the payment method, select ‘Edit on Amazon’;
- You will now be taken to the Amazon Prime account settings;
- Tap on ‘Manage membership’ and choose ‘Update, cancel and more’ under ‘Manage’;
- In this menu, press the bottom option: ‘End membership’.
After confirming your choice, the membership will be revoked. Have you prepaid for the Prime Video plan? Then you can see in the membership menu until when you can keep watching. If you are still in the trial period, the above texts are slightly different, but the content remains intact.
Did you not take out the Prime Video subscription directly with Amazon, but did you receive it as a gift with a large purchase, for example? Then it might be wise to contact the seller in question. Subscriptions taken out via third parties cannot always be canceled in the above manner.
