Hasselblad provides camera for OnePlus 9 Pro

YouTuber claims that Dave2D. The well-known tech journalist says he has photos of the device. It shows that the OnePlus 9 Pro has two large and two smaller lenses, including a tilt-shift lens. This should ensure landscape photos without distortion. Furthermore, the name Hasselblad is clearly visible. That company specializes in professional cameras.

According to previous reports, the OnePlus would get 9 cameras from Leica. Possibly those rumors were wrong. It could also be that OnePlus gives the regular OnePlus 9 Leica lenses and reserves the cameras from Hasselblad for the Pro model.

Pete Lau, the CEO of OnePlus, promised at the beginning of this year that the OnePlus 9 series would get a much better camera. That is necessary too. The company’s smartphones generally score well in reviews, but the quality of the photos often sounds a lot of criticism.

It remains to be seen whether the Hasselblad cameras really provide better photos. Sometimes large brands lend their name for a fee, without actively interfering with the product.

We already know this about the OnePlus 9 series

Quite a bit is already known about the new smartphones from OnePlus. Both the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro probably run on the Snapdragon 888. That is currently the fastest chip from manufacturer Qualcomm. In addition, a OnePlus 9E or OnePlus 9 Lite would be on the way. That is a slightly cheaper version that has to do with the older Snapdragon 865.

Furthermore, the OnePlus 9 will probably have a flat screen, while the Pro version has a display with curved edges. The OnePlus 9 Pro could also charge even faster wirelessly than its predecessor, the OnePlus 8 Pro.
