Samsung Galaxy A51 Android 11 update now available
Samsung has released an Android 11 update for the Galaxy A51, which is very popular in the Netherlands. This will update the smartphone to the most recent Android version. Samsung would actually only release the update in March, but is now making Android 11 available for the A51 a little earlier. After updating, the device runs on version 3 of One UI, Samsung’s own software. The One UI 3.1 update will follow later.
The Android 11 update for the Galaxy A51 is 1.95GB in size, which makes it smart to download and install it via a WiFi connection. Otherwise you may quickly go through your data bundle. The software update also includes the Android security update from February 2021, making the A51 completely up-to-date again. You will automatically receive a notification if you can download Android 11, but it is also possible to manually check for updates. To do this, open the settings and go to ‘Software update’> ‘Download and install’.
Android 11 contains all kinds of useful new features. For example, the design of the software is addressed, you get new privacy options and the camera app has been improved. Samsung also says that the A51 is faster after updating, takes better photos and improves battery life. Do you want to know more about the Android version? Check out our extensive Android 11 review.

On the back of the Galaxy A51 are four cameras: a 48-megapixel main camera, 12-megapixel wide-angle lens, 5-megapixel macro camera for close-ups and a 5-megapixel depth sensor that helps to take portrait photos.
