Xiaomi Mi 11 price leaked: this will cost the smartphone

The Xiaomi Mi 11 was previously announced in China, but is also coming to Europe. On Monday, February 8, the Chinese manufacturer will announce more about the release and prices, but the latter have now been leaked. According to the usually knowledgeable website 91Mobiles the Xiaomi Mi 11 will cost 799 euros.

This concerns the ‘entry-level model’ with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. Xiaomi also comes with a version with 256GB of storage, for which you would pay 899 euros. The predecessor of the Mi 11, the Mi 10, was also released last year with a suggested retail price of 799 euros. The Mi 10 Pro even cost 999 euros on appearance.

In comparison, the recently released Galaxy S21 has a suggested retail price of 849 euros. This makes the Xiaomi Mi 11 a few tens cheaper than the Samsung flagship. However, the 256GB model of the Galaxy S21 is just as expensive as the Mi 11. The suggested retail price of the Xiaomi smartphone has not yet been determined: the company may announce other prices during the European launch.

This is the Xiaomi Mi 11

The Xiaomi Mi 11 was already presented in China at the end of last year, so we know which specifications and features the phone has. The high-end device, for example, runs on the Snapdragon 888 chip, the latest and fastest processor that manufacturer Qualcomm is currently making. The screen is no less than 6.81 inches, has a high resolution (3200 by 1440 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Also present is a 108 megapixel camera, 13 megapixel wide-angle lens for extra wide photos and 5 megapixel macro camera for close-ups. On the front, in the hole at the top left of the screen, is the 20 megapixel selfie camera. The Mi 11 also stands out because of the hefty 4600 mAh battery that charges super fast, both wirelessly and with a cable. If you use the USB-C cable and adapter, the phone will be completely full in 45 minutes. However, the charger is not included in the box and must therefore be purchased separately.
