Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T officially presented
With the Redmi Note 9T, Xiaomi is releasing an affordable smartphone that can directly handle 5G, the new mobile network that is also available in the Netherlands. For this, the smartphone uses a Dimensity 800U processor from MediaTek, with 4GB of RAM and 64 / 128GB of storage space. Both models have 5G and dual sim support. The Note 9T is one of the cheapest 5G phones at the moment.
The specifications of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T are otherwise fine. For example, the device has a large screen of 6.53 inches and sharp Full HD resolution. The battery is also nice and large with 5000 mAh and supports fast charging. This is done with 18 Watt and that means that the phone will be full again relatively quickly.
- 6.53 inch screen with full HD resolution
- Camera hole top left for selfie camera
- Triple camera: 48 + 2 + 2 mega-pixel
- MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor for smooth performance
- 5G support available
- 5000 mAh battery charges quickly
- USB-C port, headphone jack and NFC
- Fingerprint scanner is on the side
On the back of the Redmi Note 9T are three cameras: a main camera of 48 megapixel, macro camera of 2 megapixel and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. You use the macro camera for photos up close, for example of a flower or insect. A 13 megapixel front camera is available for selfies, which is placed in a hole in the screen.
Redmi 9T has gigantic battery
The normal Redmi 9T is more of an entry-level model, but it does have excellent specifications. For example, the smartphone has a Snapdragon 662 processor, which is also in, for example, the Motorola Moto G9 Power and Poco M3. The chip is assisted by 4 / 6GB of RAM and 64 / 128GB of storage space, depending on which version you choose. The fingerprint scanner is on the side.
The screen of the Redmi 9T is 6.53 inches in size and – just like the Note 9T – has a full HD resolution. There is also an extra camera in the form of an 8 megapixel wide-angle lens, for extra wide photos of landscapes or cities, for example. Furthermore, the smartphone has a 48 megapixel main camera, 2 megapixel macro camera and depth sensor.
The phone is mainly distinguished by the 6000 mAh battery, which should ensure a very good battery life. Charging is done via the USB-C port with a maximum of 18 Watt, so fast charging is available. You can also use the Redmi 9T to charge other smartphones by connecting them with a USB cable.
